My name is Sarah. It is also Mother, Sister, Daughter, Wife and Avtar Ram Kaur. I am a practicing Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am also a practicing Yogi of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation.

I have found meditation to complement and complete my faith living life in ways I could never have imagined before I started this journey. Prophets both ancient and modern have advised God's people to meditate, but I never knew how. When I found another Mormon in America offering a webinar on how to meditate, the Spirit told me that this was what I should learn to do.

My life will never be the same. A regular practice of meditating has helped me achieve changes and improvements in my character in mere weeks that would have taken me a lifetime of hard work and constant repentance to accomplish.

I was once an angry person. Quick to lose my temper, I could escalate to physical violence quicker than I could stop myself. I have spent many hours on my knees, crying out to God for repentance and a way to overcome this aspect of myself. I was slowly getting better, it was taking too long and my loved ones were suffering.

When I began meditating with Kundalini Yoga, I didn't know what to expect. I was blown away by how quickly I was able to not just overcome my anger, but completely remove it from my psyche. It was less than two weeks of daily practice before the urge to lash out was absolutely gone.

But more than that, I experienced love from my Father and Mother in Heaven that I never fully accepted or realised existed before. My prayers were more meaningful, and my eyes were opened to help others. I saw a glimpse of God's plan for my life and it was awe inspiring.

I am now on the path to train to be an official Kundalini Yoga teacher, in order to better understand myself, to ground myself in this technology and give myself the knowledge and confidence to share it with others. It is my deep desire for every inhabitant of the world to draw closer to God through meditation.

Sat Nam.
